School Programs & Performances

We are now taking expressions of interest for a schools participation day held on Wednesday 8th & Thursday 9th June 2022 at Cooma Little Theatre.
The sessions will be conducted based on school year groups. Years 5 & 6. Years 7 & 8 and years 9 & 10. Students will get the opportunity to be part of a wellbeing presentation and participate in group activities.
This will be a great chance for participating youth to be exposed to the performing arts in our regional area. SKIP provides opportunities to to meet like minded youth, grow confidence, express themselves through music and dance and form a strong life foundation.

The cast of SKIP have developed a contemporary dance show called ‘DISMANTLE’.
The idea developed through our healthy dancer wellbeing program. During our intensive week held in January, students learnt that taking something apart to build it stronger is a process we can use in our everyday lives.
Watching our students become performers was incredible as they learnt to goal set, reflect and achieve. The show was presented on stage on the 12th February in front of a full house at Cooma Little Theatre.
As rave reviews came flooding in, we knew it needed to be showcased again. Only this time, we could have the lessons engage our youth more broadly. We are proud of what we have achieved and wish to share it.
